The Cork Statement Necklace is for the woman who wants to be noticed, who wants to stop traffic, who wants to be seen.
 
The necklace is handmade in California from upcycled wine corks. This one-of-a-kind piece took several hours to cut, sand, and paint by hand. The corks were given a subtle wash of pastel colors with acrylic paint and even wine, and then they were finished with a touch of shimmer and glaze to make them shine. The piece is embellished with sparkly Swarovski crystals, bits of fabric, and faceted iridescent glass crystals.
 
The corks cascade from delicate beaded and gunmetal chains that close with a hook and eye clasp and a tiny grape leaf at the end. The chain measures approximately 16 inches with the corks falling about 4 inches longer, making it hit right around the collarbone and drop down. This beautiful one-of-a-kind necklace makes quite a statement, but it’s deceptively lightweight in spite of its bold appearance.
 
The necklace will arrive wrapped in a box with a unique hand-stamped leaf design and a stamped linen storage pouch with a touch of sparkle.
